Guidelines for Teachers

Introduction

After a first module on the historical evolution of Judaism, this second module focuses on a few themes to understand the significance of Judaism through its founding texts, its mains figures, its rites and its practices, and to highlight the diversity of the Jewish world.

Conceptual (knowledge) Objectives:

• C.O.1: Knowledge of the founding beliefs and practices of Judaism
• C.O.2: Knowledge of a diverse Judaism and Jewish world

Skill objectives:

• S.1: Be able to understand and analyse the main Jewish beliefs and practices
• S.2: Be able to compare Judaism with other religions
